1. You're making sure that someone or people are noticing you. With the risque pose and the bland background, the advertising is quite effective.
2. You're using the pose to highlight the condition of the land. How there is now miles of tractless farm land where, from the looks of the treeline in the back, it used to be green. Sort of beauty/ beast contrast.
